Nothing, said Kyle Nothing." Something happened they didn't just do that to themselves." Kyle's mouth was ripped open his jaw stretched in a very awkward way. Sampson could say the hands around Kyle's jaw it was foggy and dark but he was able to make out the hands. "Red Corn?" He said.

"Red Corn was an Indian his tribe was massacred.....Sampson was cut short. An arrow pierced his back it came right through his stomach. Blood came out of his mouth like a drippy faucet. Alex was in shock he didn't know what to do. The figure believed to be Red Corn grabbed him off his horse. The two struggled and wrestled around the ground a bit. Red Corn through him around. The Sun was coming up and Red Corn was gone. Alex hopped back on his horse and headed on. He was still shook up with the events that happened. Before sunset Alex arrived in Dodge. He hurried his horse along and made it. He headed into the Saloon. He ordered a shot of whiskey. The bartender said to him. "Son you look like you've been through hell." Alex asked.

"Indeed I have, Indeed I have." The mystery of Red Corn remains a mystery. Alex spoke not a word of what he endured. He just stood at the bar drinking and never said a word.

Over the course of the last few weeks of the month of May Tom started to gain a lot of trouble within his budget. He was losing money because supplies were below average. Several of his customers had to go 5 miles north to get what they needed. Tom was feeling down and hadn't a clue how he would bounce back for this ordeal.

Two weeks went by and Tom had to close his doors. Many in Rolling Rock saw this as a big blow to the town. Tom seen it as the end of what was once a successful business. He had a cabin outside of the town and he now spent most of his time there. It was just him he never wed or had any children. Tom

was a loner. For several weeks he never came into to town. He just stayed in his cabin and that was all.

Marshall Hendershot drew his gun. Inside they found bloody sheets and blanket laying against the wall. Gus moved them away and they were in shock at what they seen. A body dismantled. The eyes were ripped out the legs cut open veins were showing, but the most horrifying thing of all was there was more underneath those bloody sheets. About 4 to be exact. "Why would Tom do this?" asked Gus. Marshall Hendershot was silent for a moment.

"I have no idea Gus." He replied. "Listen not a word of this you hear." said Marshall Hendershot. "Keep everyone away from here you got it." Gus shook his head. "Yes Sir." He answered. Marshall Hendershot headed back to figure this out. He wanted to deal with this without alarming the town.

Meanwhile back at Tom's cabin outside of town. He was skinning a rabbit he had trapped. This was going to be his supper for this evening. Tom had snapped. The fall of his business was something he

couldn't take. He went insane. He killed those who were at the store with his trusty knife. They were some of the customers from the store 5 miles north. He knocked them out unseen and brought them to his store to dismantle them. He blamed them for his store failing. He just had enough. He lost his mind.

Marshall Hendershot pondered awhile and came to a conclusion. He had to confront Tom he had not choice. Once he got to the bottom of it he could decide from there. He had to arrange a posse he didn't wanna got there alone. He assembled a group of men he knew he could trust and they head out of town to Tom's cabin. They hoped it was go smothly but with Tom at this state it was hard to tell how it would

go. They arrvied at Tom's cabin he was stirring a pot of something. "Hey Marshall y'all went some Rabbit Stew?" He asked. "No thanks Tom." Replied Marshall Hendershot. "We need to talk to you about your store." What about it?" "Its been closed for days now." We found something inside." Tom grabbed for his shotgun. He shot one of them on the head. It was Francis a well known member of the town he bartented a time a two in the Saloon." Francis's brains scattered in the air before falling to the ground. His body walked around and it collapsed.. Tom was ordered to put the gun down. He didn't listen. He shot again this time he caught the Marshall in the leg. It was out of control. Tom had to be stopped before he created a blood bath with them all. One came around behind him and using the barrel of their gun knocked Tom out. They tied him up and took him back into town. It was time to get to the bottom of this. Time to find out why Tom was a killer. What made him do it. These questions needed answered and Marshall Hendershot was hell bent or finding out. Tom was going to talk.

When Tom came to he explained things. He said he killed those innocent people because they didn't deserve to live and go to any other store but his. It was talking out of his head after that. Marshall Hendershot knew what he needed to do. It was time for the first hanging in Rolling Rock town history.

Its was set a few days after. Tom Wilkerson was set to hang at high noon. He had no last words. A fire was set to his store. After the store was nothing but ashes. Tom was hanged his insane ways had finally come to an end and the town of Rolling Rock would get through this ordeal and push on. Everyone stood by the ashes that was once Tom's General Store and they walked away. Marshall Hendershot headed to the Saloon. Others went there separate ways.
